I saw the same question posted on AR15.com last night.

I guess Tula makes ammo for "Wolf" so it's pretty good stuff.

Just doesn't have the fancy "Wolf" box!

Just doing some more research and looks like you are right. Wolf's website says "Wolf: The Tula Cartridge" in Tula Russia so I assume it is legit although I'm not sure why they don't package it as Wolf if they sell it for the same price.

at the gun shop i go to the guy there told me it was the same as wolf

I am pretty sure it is the same exact stuff. Even if it isn't, all the russian steel cased is pretty much the same. It all works ok for plinking.

The problem here in L.A. is the lead core, can't use it at the most of the out door shooting ranges.

For the same reason Kingston repackages the previous production run as Valu-Add. Marketing.

I don't know how many times I've heard variations of, "That Wolf stuff is crap but this Tula will do fine."
